The Catholic Social and Community Council (CSCC) is established to be the official social and community arm of the Archdiocese. CSCC was launched on 10 November 2006 by His Grace, Archbishop Nicholas Chia.

Mission
To provide leadership to the Catholic community in Singapore in fulfilling the Church's social mission for the benefit of the broader community.

Vision
To be the hub of a vibrant Church's social outreach to the broader community and a model of social innovation and Christian leadership.


Scope and Programmes
CSCC is an umbrella organisation whose key members are the various Catholic charity and community organisations.

CSCC's programmes include:
  Raising funds and making grants for the charity work of the Church  
Fostering the co-ordination and networking of its members
   
Helping to build the capacity and development of its members
   
Developing a community strategy
   
Providing shared services for smaller organisations
   
Levelling up the church charity organisations through shared
governance practices
 
         
  Raising and matching of volunteers with the Church's charity organisations    
         
  Educating the Catholic community on our social teachings    
         
  Establishing and maintaining an online portal and other communication channels
