 Advent 2007 Charity Projects at Parishes
HOLY CROSS - G.O.D. PROJECT (THE GIFT OF ONE DOLLAR)
Church of the Holy Cross continues its tradition of asking parishioners to give One Dollar every week during Advent to charity. The gift of one dollar, insignificantly though it may be, but when put together as a parish community, will make a big difference.
This year G.O.D is for Infant Jesus Homes and Children Centre.
The Infant Jesus Home & Children's Centre is managed by a committee of volunteers with guidance from the Sister Provincial of the Sisters of Infant Jesus in Singapore. Many volunteers from all walks of life, including the Sisters of Infant Jesus help out at the Centre and the Homes.

 Infant Jesus Centre, Clementi
I.J. Home, Ang Mo Kio
Galilee Centre, Ang Mo Kio Ave 4
Oasis Centre at Clementi Primary School
Mission Statement
To affirm the call of the Infant Jesus Sisters in Singapore to the service of the poor, especially the children by providing:

Shelter, caring and educative environments for children and youth through the different programmes offered, |

Opportunities for their physical, mental, social, emotional, moral and spiritual development |
|
Financial assistance and support to families so as to promote children and youth's growth as independent and responsible world citizens. |
