Myanmar Catholic Community of Singapore

The community of Myanmar Catholics in Singapore meets twice a month for worship at the Church of Immaculate Heart of Mary. The community has about 300 members by August 2008.

Mission/Vision Statement:
Myanmar Catholics Faithful who are working in Singapore are to grow in faith and love in Christ together with other Migrants and Itinerant groups and to be faithful to their religion and responsibilities.

Our mission is for Myanmar Catholic Faithful to:
a. Pray together twice a month.
b. Have a proper instruction in faith.
c. Help and love each other for spiritual, physical and social needs.

Social Mission Acitivities/Groups

1.		Donations from 2nd collections at every Myanmar Mass is sent annually to 15 groups of orphanages in various parts of Myanmar, taken care by Catholic institutions >> View Details

2.		Special collections were made in May & June 2008 for victims of Nargis cyclone sent through CBCM, Yangon

3.		Donation to 14 Archdiocese of Myanmar, sending alternately each month through CBCM as a sign of solidarity and support of MCCS
