The Conference has more than 30 Vincentians. The Conference looks into request for financial assistance from needy families from all walks of life regardless of race, language or religion.

“Giving a Second Chance” Advent Project 2007
For its Advent 2007 project, the parish supported the Roman Catholic Prison Ministry (RCPM) by helping to raise funds for its many programmes and activities which will give a second chance to the prisoners.

Free Medical Clinic
The Free Medical Clinic of Church of the Risen Christ was set up to make healthcare accessible to those with low-income, especially the elderly.

Free Legal Clinic
The Legal Clinic is a service provided through the collaboration between lawyers from the Church of the Risen Christ and the Catholic Lawyers’ Guild. It provides preliminary access to justice to anyone, regardless of race or religion, who may not otherwise be able to afford legal fees.

Family Life Group
The group reaches out to families/individuals in need through home visits (including prayer sessions) and support groups (for single parents, seniors, elderly and the sick).

Counselling Services by Family Life Society (FLS)
Trained lay counsellors from Family Life Society (FLS) have made themselves available thrice a week in the afternoon & evening to offer a listening ear and advice to parishioners.

Legion of Mary
The purpose of the Legion is to mirror Mary. It fosters a deeper devotion to Mary and understanding of the faith to everyone. The Legion’s work include rosary recitation, bringing good cheer and to pray as one with the sick and to be of service to the poor and needy.

Ministry to the Sick
The Ministry visits the sick at home and in hospitals.

The Sodality of St Joseph Group
This group provides support to the family of the departed by leading nightly prayers.
