| Social Mission Activities/Groups |
SSVP – The Conference of the Church of St Francis Xavier
The Conference serves the poor and the less fortunate regardless of race or religion. They distribute food ration and provide monetary assistance for their financial, medical and educational needs as well as organize outings.

Serangoon North and Hospitality Groups
The groups are involved in bringing wheeled-chaired bound residents from the Cheshire Home to Sunday Mass every week. They also visit the Cheshire Home regularly every week for prayers and bring cheerful companionship to the severely handicapped residents of the Cheshire Home.

Legion of Mary
The purpose of the Legion is to mirror Mary. It fosters a deeper devotion to Mary and understanding of the faith to everyone. The Legion’s work include rosary recitation, bringing good cheer and to pray as one with the sick and to be of service to the poor and needy.

Elders Group
Formed in 1993, the group caters to the social and spiritual needs of the senior members of the parish. It organizes social gatherings, talks and courses. Its members also provide comfort and prayers to those who are ill or infirm. The group runs the Thrift Shop for second hand goods.
