SSVP – The Conference
of St Mary
Conference reaches out to families by providing monthly rations of essential food items and cash, and to the aged and chronically ill through visits to various homes like St. Joseph, Villa Francis, Missionaries of Charities, Cheshire Home, etc to render assistance and provide essential items.

St Mary’s Christmas Gift of Love to the Poor of Kolkata
This fund raising project for the poor of Kolkata was organized by the Family Life Society. It raised funds through sale of items during the first two weeks of December. From 17-29 Dec 07, visits were made to the various homes of the Missionaries of Charity as well as the Don Bosco ‘Ashayalam’ – street children of Kolkata. A children’s Christmas party and lunch were also organised for the poor.

Pastoral Care Ministry
The members of the Ministry visit the sick and elderly at Bukit Batok Home for the Aged, handicapped children & adults at Red Cross Home and the home-bound sick and elderly from our Parish.

Ministry of Consolation
The Ministry provides support upon the death of a parishioner to the bereaved family through night vigils, helping organise and lead prayer services, etc.

Family Life Group
The group reaches out to families/individuals in need through home visits (including prayer sessions) and support groups (for single parents, seniors, elderly and the sick).

HeARTspace @ St Mary’s
This is an open art studio that aims to help individuals of all ages enhance their mental, emotional and physical well-being. It offers individuals the opportunity to experience deeper self awareness through the process of Art Therapy.
