The Carmelite Fathers give priority to that special apostolate of the Order of Carmelites, Discalced which, as it were, grows out of the nature of its charism of fostering and promoting a life of prayer and contemplative spirit according to St Teresa of Avila, St John of the Cross, as well as the Little Way of Spiritual Childhood of St Teresa of the Child Jesus. In this way, they present themselves with their true identity and are faithful to their own specific mission.
