| This is the second year that the CSCC together with the Catholic Welfare Services, have conducted this fund raising campaign. In partnership with the Singapore Pastoral Institute (SPI), a reflections booklet titled, “Led by the Spirit into New Life” targeted at Small Christian Communities, Youth and Young Adult Groups was produced and distributed to all Catholics through the parishes.
Through the help of the parishes and Catholic schools, Charities Week 2008 appeal flyers with envelopes were distributed to the Catholic community. Close to 15,500 donation envelopes were returned by the parishes. Our parishioners continued to be most generous and a total amount of $4,363,240 was raised for Charities Week 2008.
