Living Water is a programme for donors who wish to make a monthly contribution to support the charitable work of Caritas Singapore Community Council and its member organisations in serving the poor and those in need.
Caritas Singapore has under its umbrella 19 affiliate members that reach out to over 50,000 beneficiaries across race, language and religion. These beneficiaries fall into various constituencies of needs, namely, the poor, families, youth and children, prisoners, people with HIV / AIDS, migrant workers, disaster victims and displaced people, and people with medical and legal needs. Living Water symbolises the contributions from our donors, which are not simply dollars and cents but the community spirit coming straight from their hearts. As water gives new life and nourishes our being, these “heart dollars” are channelled to further grow our social and charitable programmes, making a real difference in the lives of so many of our beneficiaries.
