  What is it about?
Module 1 - Haircut
Students will be taught how to analyse client's characteristics, face shapes and recommend styles to clients.
- How to prepare client (or dummy head) for haircut.
- Haircutting to produce a variety of styles.
- Perform shaping technique, and outline shaping.
  Entry requirement
Students must understand simple English.
   
Module  2 - Hair Waving / Perming
Students will be taught how to analyse client's charateristics, face shapes and recommendation of waving / perming designs. How to prepare client (or dummy head) for waving / perming and finishing techniques.
  Entry requirement
Students must understand simple English, keen on taking up hairdressing as a
career (preferably those who have completed module 1).
   
Module 3 - Hair colouring & lightening
Students will learn to consult and analyse hair for colouring and lightening services, select and use hair colours & lightening. Rectify hair colour problems.
  Entry requirement
Students must complete module 1 & 2 to be eligible.

Students must achieve 75% attendance and complete all assignments to be awarded
a certificate of attendance.

Certificate in Hairdressing
Duration: students must complete 100 hrs hands on or at least on 40 models.

The course offers in depth and complexity of knowledge covering equipment selection,
services or contingency measures with salon management. Activities may involve
individual's responsibility, and teamwork coordination in salon. The course will be
conducted or assessed in a work place environment or simulated hairdressing salon.

Entry requirements
Students must complete module 1 to 3 to be eligible.

Who should attend?
Migrant workers who wish to learn hairdressing skills.

How much does it cost?
Contribution of $75 per course.
